CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN - Crazy World Of Arthur Brown (2CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Edition

Two-disc, remastered edition of the brilliant debut album by Arthur Brown (or rather the formation The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown). Without a doubt it is one of the most interesting items of the late 60s. An incredible vocalist (inspired by the singing of Otis Redding and James Brown), insistent organ (Vincent Crane - later in Atomic Rooster), nice bass (Nicholas Greenwood - known from the LP "Cold Cuts" and the group Khan); dynamic, superbly arranged, at moments almost diabolical compositions and finally the incredible, hit "Fire"! The whole thing was produced by Pete Townshend. A genuine classic of the psychedelic era! The additional, second disc, with mostly unreleased material, contains, among others, a great session for BBC radio, alternative mixes in mono and the original version of the track Fire! Very attractively presented British CD from Esoteric with a nice booklet full of photos. An absolute must!
