CHICKEN SHACK - Imagination Lady - EU Ethelion Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A long-awaited, vinyl, excellent-sounding reissue in a gatefold sleeve! Released by Deram at the very end of 1971, this album is an excellent, heavy blues-rock album - without a doubt one of the best records of this kind from the early 70s and at the same time the nicest achievement of this cult band! Recorded in a completely changed line-up (only the leader, the guitarist Stan Webb, remained, accompanied by the bassist John Glascock of The Gods/Toe Fat and the drummer Paul Hancox, who played two bass drums), the longplayer, unlike the first, strictly blues records, contained heavy, heavy-rock playing based on Webb's great, at moments almost Hendrix-like playing, combined with very early Led Zeppelin! It is simply a 'hard-hitting' album that should find its place in every self-respecting heavy rock collection! Condition: new, sealed. A MUST!
