BLACKFEATHER - At The Mountains Of Madness - FRA Absinthe Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A limited French reissue of the debut album, released in 1971, by the Australian band Blackfeather - one of the best guitar albums in the history of rock and at the same time in the top five rock records from Australia! Thrilling compositions, fantastic guitar solos and plenty of changing but always catchy moods! Two eight-minute tracks, one fourteen-minute one and three no less good, though shorter, pieces. It is worth knowing that the young Bon Scott guested here on percussion - three years later the vocalist of AC/DC! In terms of sound this edition beats the somewhat muffled Akarma edition, and the pressing itself (and the nice, laminated sleeve) is excellent. A MUST!
