From the publisher: "1964 was the year in which the United States first fell in love with The Beatles, and an unprecedented number of albums and singles topped the charts and sold in the millions. But these albums are not simply replicas of the albums of 1963 and 1964 released by Parlophone in Great Britain and the rest of the world. Seeing another opportunity, Capitol Records and United Artists compiled these albums for release in the USA between January 1964 and March 1965. The new vinyls were cut by Kevin Reeves at East Iris Studios in Nashville, referring to the original first pressings, to ensure fidelity to the original release while at the same time making it possible to hear more musical information than was possible before.
