A great record, though a rather difficult one to describe. Free-flowing, guitar-driven playing - it is supposedly hard rock but of a... sophisticated kind (acoustic guitar, sometimes Hammond), eclectic, not too sharp and at times psychedelic! This Canadian band went on to record plenty of mediocre records, but the debut is superb. A must! (JL)
