ANCIENT GREASE - Women And Children First (US Cover) - EU Walhalla Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A great album (RELEASED IN 1970 IN THE CHANGED, AMERICAN COVER KNOWN FROM THE OLD VINYL ON THE MERCURY LABEL) recorded with the participation of Eyes Of Blue musicians (later Big Sleep). Lots of strong, guitar riffs; a heavy, intense sound - although the record does not lack calmer, ballad-like passages. On several tracks Gary Pickford-Hopkins (later known from Wild Turkey) sang as a guest. Highly recommended! (JL)
