WALKER, GARY & THE RAIN (see also: Badfinger) - GARY WALKER & THE RAIN - Album No. 1 - FRA Absinthe Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE
price: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a beautiful (in a gatefold and very colourful sleeve) reissue of the sensational and unfortunately sole album, released in 1968, by a British band led by the drummer of The Walker Brothers. The album originally came out only in Japan and is worth over 2000 euros! It is exquisite, sometimes lighter, sometimes heavier, somewhat Beatles-like psychedelia in the style of The Zombies, Koobas, Skip Bifferty and so on, with stunning overdriven guitar parts from Joey Molland (later in Badfinger). The sound and pressing quality is perfect! I assure you that it is one of the best items of this genre and an absolutely essential one for all fans of playing from 1967-1969! A must! New, sealed.
