TYGERS OF PAN TANG (see also: Thin Lizzy / Whitesnake) - TYGERS OF PAN TANG - Live In The UK 1981 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited, 52-minute black vinyl, limited to 500 copies, released in a beautiful laminated sleeve with several rare early photos of the band. This truly excellent album features excerpts from two superb and excellent-sounding concerts from the period of the band's second LP, "Spellbound", from 1981. The brilliant live performance for the BBC (on the first side) is almost the best NWOBHM I have heard. Part of the first side and the entire second part is taken up by a 35-minute performance in Nottingham, from April 1981. This is playing with two lead guitars - with John Sykes (later in Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake) and Robb Weir! Two other recordings from the BBC concert ("Slave To Freedom" and "Raised On Rock") appeared on the official and fairly easily available 12" maxi single "Don't Stop By", so they are not included here. A must! Condition: MINT/NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

The band's third and at the same time last exquisite album. Released a year later, the fourth in the discography, the LP "The Cage" had a much more commercial character (though over the years it has acquired a bit of patina...). -

TYGERS OF PAN TANG (see also: Thin Lizzy / Whitesnake) - TYGERS OF PAN TANG - Spellbound - EU Music On CD Editionprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
The second album, released in the spring of 1981 - with a new vocalist and with the excellent John Sykes (later in Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake) on guitar. It is a great, hard-rock album by one of the most important and most popular bands of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement. It is like a harder Thin Lizzy and UFO combined with the Judas Priest of the time - still with a sound from the end of the 70s. -

Released in the summer of 1980, a superb debut by one of the most important and popular bands of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. It's a sharper Thin Lizzy and UFO, combined with the Judas Priest of the time - still with the sound of the late 70s. 2023 edition.
