SLADE - SLADE - Live At The BBC 1972 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A superb, limited edition of the live, promotional album (released in 1972 in 100 copies by the BBC Transcription Service, and years later also on the double CD "Slade At The BBC"), on a 57-minute black vinyl! The record contains an excellent-quality performance from London from August 1972 (four months before the release of the LP "Slayed?"), as well as two bonus tracks: "Darling Be Home Soon" (from British TV from June 1972) and "Coming Home" (from Belgian TV from November 1971). It is a somewhat longer and more hit-laden "Slade Alive", though the set of tracks is different (including "Look Wot You Dun", "Move Over", "Mama Weer All Crazee Now", "Lady Be Good", "Coz I Luv You", "Take Me Back 'Ome", "Good Golly Miss Molly")! The sound quality is excellent (the bonus tracks too), and the whole thing looks superb! It is a superb complement to the LP "BBC Sessions 1969-1971". A MUST! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

SLADE - SLADE - BBC Sessions 1969-1971 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE - OSTATNIE SZTUKIprice: 250,00 PLN / 62,50 EUR
OUT OF PRINT! LAST COPY! A French, limited edition on 55-minute black vinyl! I must admit that nothing has made such an impression on me for a long time as Slade playing for the BBC! The record contains the band's earliest work (November 1969 - May 1971) - just before they won enormous popularity with "Get Down And Get With It" and "Coz I Luv You"! During short, three- or four-hour sessions, the then completely unpopular band recorded 4-5 numbers 'live' at the BBC studio, and at first these were covers of other artists' recordings. Just look at the titles! Among others, songs from the repertoire of The Beatles (a similar but sharper "Getting Better"), Traffic (the brilliant "Coloured Rain"), The Moody Blues (the beautiful "Nights In White Satin") as well as Janis Joplin, Fairport Convention, Moby Grape, Delaney & Bonnie and the forgotten band Max Frost And The Troopers (the fantastic "The Shapes Of Things To Come")... Sensational! Slade play like gods here and this music will probably appeal to all fans of dynamic playing from the turn of the 60s and 70s! I repeat: if anyone dislikes the band for its glam image, they should still give this record a chance! Excellent sound quality on all the recordings! A MUST! Condition: NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -

SLADE - SLADE - British Radio Sessions 1969-1972 - FRA On The Air Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
I must admit that nothing has made such an impression on me for a long time as this 80-minute limited release! During short three- or four-hour sessions, the then completely unpopular band recorded 4-5 numbers 'live' at the BBC studio, and at first these were covers of other artists' recordings. Just look at the titles! Among others, songs from the repertoire of The Beatles (a similar but sharper "Getting Better"), Traffic (the brilliant "Coloured Rain"), The Moody Blues (the beautiful "Nights In White Satin"), as well as Janis Joplin, Fairport Convention, Moby Grape, Delaney & Bonnie and the forgotten band Max Frost And The Troopers (the fantastic "The Shapes Of Things To Come")... Sensational! Slade play like gods here and this music will probably appeal to all fans of dynamic playing from the turn of the 60s and 70s! I repeat: if anyone dislikes the band for its glam image, they should still give this record a chance! Of the 25 tracks, 19 were previously released on the long-deleted, official double CD "Live At The BBC", but here the quality is marginally better (more treble and bass), and there are six unreleased tracks! Excellent sound quality on all the recordings! A MUST! (JL) -
