SAMURAI (UK) (see also: Web / Greenslade) - SAMURAI - Live In Sweden 1971 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited, black vinyl from the French label Verne, containing a full recording of a unique, excellent, 35-minute performance by the British progressive band, broadcast by Swedish radio in the spring of 1971. The band Samurai, known from its only album (released under its new, changed name), was then still performing under the name Web - associated with the LP "I Spider", released at the end of 1970 and harking back to the work of King Crimson and Colosseum. As it happened, however, just before the concert tour the saxophonist left the band, so both the compositions from the album "Samurai" (1971) and from 'I Spider' were presented in Sweden in somewhat different, more guitar-and-organ, rock arrangements! Perfect pressing and very clean sound. A must! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

SAMURAI (UK) (see also: Web / Greenslade) - SAMURAI - Samurai +3 - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
This English band was made up of exactly the same musicians as played earlier under the name Web on the album "I Spider" (1970). A great album, reminiscent somewhat of the work of King Crimson, Colosseum and Heaven - with predominantly expansive compositions with dark, slightly jazzy moods, adorned with, among other things, nice guitar parts. A remastered British edition with three bonus tracks from concerts in Sweden in 1971. Highly recommended! (JL) -
