QUILL - QUILL - Quill - EU Music On Vinyl PINK VINYL Limited Press - LISTEN
price: 155,00 PLN / 38,75 EUR
Released by the Cotillion label in 1970, the only, but truly very good, album by a somewhat forgotten American band contains intense and superbly produced playing with the dominant sounds of a very nice, edgy guitar, organ and occasional horns, all served against a superbly and densely playing rhythm section. Plenty of intense, meaty and almost progressive playing, though with still perceptible influences of psychedelia (including the excellent, balladic "Yellow Butterfly") and jazz - just as it was played in 1970... Reissue limited to 750 copies from 2024, in a gatefold sleeve, on pink vinyl. Highly recommended! (K)
