QUARTZ (see also: Black Sabbath) - QUARTZ - Quartz - UK Back On Black RED VINYL Press - LISTEN - OSTATNIE SZTUKIprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
Released in 1977, the debut album of the later classics of the NWOBHM movement, in the style of later Black Sabbath recordings. It is no wonder, since the whole thing was produced (and Tony Iommi himself had a hand in the music) by none other than Tony Iommi, while the band's leader at the time was Geoff Nicholls, playing guitar and keyboards - later a long-time collaborator of the Sabs. The superb opening track "Mainline Raiders" uncannily recalls "Heaven And Hell", which came three years later... A British 2018 edition, no longer in production, in a gatefold sleeve, on red vinyl. -
QUARTZ (see also: Black Sabbath) - QUARTZ - Live Quartz - UK Dissonance Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 50,00 PLN / 12,50 EUR
Recorded in December 1979, the LP "Live Quartz" is rather classic heavy rock (in the style of later Black Sabbath and Thin Lizzy) than metal, but it was precisely then that it all began to mix a little. An ideal thing for lovers of catchy guitar riffs and rather long solos! An edition in a digipak, from 2019. Recommended! -
QUARTZ (see also: Black Sabbath) - QUARTZ - Quartz +5 - EU Eclipse Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in 1977, the debut album by the later NWOBHM classics, kept in the style of Black Sabbath's later recordings. It is hardly surprising, since the whole thing was produced (and contributed to musically) by Tony Iommi himself, and the band's leader at the time was Geoff Nicholls, playing guitar and keyboards - later a long-time Sabs collaborator. The superb opening track "Mainline Raiders" uncannily recalls "Heaven And Hell", which came three years later... In addition, five great recordings from rare singles (including a Mountain cover) and compilations. Excellent sound - beating the old Majestic Rock CD hands down! Highly recommended! (JL)
