McDONALD AND GILES (see also: King Crimson) - McDONALD AND GILES - McDonald And Giles - JAPAN Atlantic 1974 Press (+OBI) - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 600,00 PLN / 150,00 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! A mega rare, second Japanese pressing (by Atlantic, from 1974) of the only, but excellent, album (released in the UK in 1970) by former members of King Crimson - once co-leader (with Fripp), the wind and keyboard player Ian McDonald and the drummer Michael Giles. The second side of the album is filled by the excellent, 23-minute suite "Birdman". Plus a lyric insert and the very rare OBI (strip). Excellent condition! The gatefold, rigid sleeve has micro-spots inside; otherwise like new: MINT- / Record in perfect condition: MINT(-) -
McDONALD AND GILES (see also: King Crimson) - McDONALD AND GILES - McDonald And Giles - UK Remastered 200g Pressprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
A wonderful album recorded in 1970 by two musicians (McDonald - the main composer playing wind instruments and Mellotron, and Giles - the drummer) from the first, best line-up of King Crimson, assisted by Pete Giles and Steve Winwood. In my opinion this record was little short of the first two King Crimson titles in quality. Remastered 2023 edition. A must! (JL) -

A wonderful album recorded in 1970 by two musicians (McDonald - the main composer, playing wind instruments and Mellotron, and Giles - the drummer) from the first, best line-up of King Crimson, assisted by Pete Giles and Steve Winwood. In my opinion this record was not much inferior in quality to the first two King Crimson titles. An edition from the DGM label, owned by Robert Fripp, from 2021. A must! (JL)
