KAHVAS JUTE (see also: Tamam Shud / Rainbow) - KAHVAS JUTE - Wide Open +6 - EU Eclipse Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE
price: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A European edition of the sole album, released in January 1971, by an Australian quartet and one of the 4-5 best rock albums from the land of the kangaroos! The band referred to the tradition of the 'power trio' in the style of Cream (the vocalist sounds almost identical to Jack Bruce), but instead of copying - they played their own thing - progressively, very melodically and at the same time with great dynamics. There is not a single average track on this excellent album! Two musicians had previously played in the sensational Tamam Shud, while the bassist was Bob Daisley, known from the records of Chicken Shack, Rainbow, Uriah Heep and Ozzy Osbourne! This is such good playing that it is hard to believe! The sole album by Kahvas Jute is among the greatest Australian rarities and in great condition easily fetches 1000 euros! In addition, four superb tracks from a 2005 concert (they sound like old ones) and two unreleased old numbers from TV. Note! This version, sonically, knocks all the earlier editions flat - including the Australian (slightly overdriven and rather hissy) expensive Aztec Music CD. An absolute must!
