CHICAGO - CHICAGO - 5 Original Albums (1969 -1974) (5 CD) - UE Card Sleeve Boxprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
Elegantly presented Rhino box set containing five albums by the legendary American jazz-rock formation, released as card sleeves (mini LPs) and placed in a cardboard slipcase. The first two records are excellent and belong to the strict canon of American rock! Besides the first two albums, Chicago V, VI and VII are also included here - it is just a pity that the third studio album from 1971 has been left out! Nevertheless I recommend it very much. -
CHICAGO - CHICAGO - Chicago II Live on Soundstage (CD + DVD) - EU Press - UNIKALNY CDprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
This is not an ordinary live album. Chicago do not play a cross-sectional "best of" here, but take on their whole classic album "Chicago II" and play it almost in its entirety live on the television programme Soundstage. The effect is interesting — a bit like meeting your own legend after years. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -

CHICAGO - CHICAGO - Live At Tanglewood 1970 - FRA On The Air Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Nowadays, for the average rock lover the group Chicago is a synonym for tackiness and pop commercialism. However, it is worth remembering that in 1969-1973 the band played first-rate, progressive jazz rock and few groups of the time could equal them in musicianship or (admirable) arrangements. It is also worth noting that many of the little-known British progressive formations so adored by fans drew their inspiration precisely from Chicago (e.g. Aquila, Raw Material, Heaven, Galliard). The concert organised by Bill Graham at Tanglewood took place in June 1970 - at the time when the band was recording its third album. In any case, this 80-minute, perfect-sounding CD contains only tracks from the first two albums and one from the 'third'. This is top-shelf rock material! A must! -
CHICAGO - CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY - Chicago Transit Authority - EU Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
The first, by far the best (read: the most rock, progressive) album in the long career of this American jazz-rock band (released still under the original name, Chicago Transit Authority), which inspired quite a few British progressive bands, such as Hannibal, Heaven, Brainchild and Walrus. The CD includes "I'm A Man" and the extended, guitar-improvisation-filled "Liberation". Two LPs on one CD. Remastered edition. A MUST! (JL) -
CHICAGO - Chicago – Live 1971 (John F. Kennedy Center) (4LP BOX) - Rhino Entertaiment Editionprice: 350,00 PLN / 87,50 EUR
A four-record box set containing the Chicago concert that took place in September 1971 in Washington during the promotional tour for their third record, although the band was just working on the fifth (fourth studio) album. Importantly, it is a recording of the whole performance, without cuts, spread over 4 vinyls. Live 1971 shows Chicago at their absolute best – as a live band, and it is not merely a re-creation of the studio versions, but full-fledged, live reinterpretations of the pieces, including the first live performance of "Saturday in the Park".
