BAKER, GINGER (see also: Cream/Blind Faith/Traffic) - GINGER BAKER'S AIR FORCE - 2 (+5) - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered & Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
On CD for the first time in the original cover - as a stand-alone title! Released at the end of 1970, the second album (entirely studio - unlike the live debut) by the jazz-rock, progressive formation led by the former Cream drummer with the help of, among others, Graham Bond! The album has been supplemented with five tracks made during the same session, but unreleased in the British Isles (but released in Germany and in the USA). Highly recommended! -
BAKER, GINGER (see also: Cream/Blind Faith/Traffic) - GINGER BAKER'S AIR FORCE - What A Day (Beat Club 1970) (CD+DVD) - GER MIG Card Sleeve Editionprice: 125,00 PLN / 31,25 EUR
A CD and a DVD documenting a 1970 performance, from the cult programme Beat-Club (in colour), of an excellent band (supergroup) led by the drummer of Cream and Blind Faith. Recorded live in the studio (with a line-up including Graham Bond), excellent, richly arranged, extended, slightly psychedelic and above all swinging jazz-progressive tracks. An absolute must for every fan of classic playing! (JL) -
BAKER, GINGER (see also: Cream/Blind Faith/Traffic) - GINGER BAKER - Ginger Baker & African Friends - Live In Berlin 1978 - Official Ginger Baker Bootleg Seriesprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
Recorded in 1978 in Berlin, a decidedly "drum-driven" performance by the Cream drummer with musicians from Africa. Very good sound quality. (K)
