AUNT MARY - AUNT MARY - Janus - EU Sun King Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A new, European reissue of the third album, released in 1973 by Vertigo, by an excellent Norwegian band, once in the absolute top ranks of progressive rock from Scandinavia. It was a logical development of the second album in their discography, the brilliant LP "Loaded", although it was a somewhat gentler work, with plenty of Hammonds, a solid rhythm section and original melodies. The last ten minutes are progressive mastery of the world! The original Norwegian vinyl in perfect condition costs 800 euros, so it is probably worth investing 3% of that amount in an almost identical-looking, attractive edition in a gatefold sleeve and with great sound. A must! (JL) Condition: New, sealed. -
AUNT MARY - AUNT MARY - Loaded +3 - FRA Absinthe Expanded Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Released by Philips in 1972, and now reissued in France, the second LP in the discography, "Loaded" (in perfect condition and with the limited poster, worth over 2000 euros on the original Philips vinyl), is without doubt the best hard-progressive album ever made in Norway and at the same time in the top three of Scandinavian rock! A very dynamic, rock sound based on the interplay of guitars, organ and a very juicy rhythm section. Looseness and precision at the same time - these qualities characterised many bands from the North. In addition, three tracks from the first two singles have been placed on the vinyl, including the fantastic "Stop Your Wishful Thinking", built on a very catchy riff - probably the band's strongest track! Excellent sound quality and excellent, clean pressing! A MUST! (JL) -
AUNT MARY - AUNT MARY - Aunt Mary / Janus (1970-1973) - US Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The third and first albums of the excellent Norwegian group on a single CD. "Janus" (1973) was a logical development of the second in the discography, the brilliant LP "Loaded", although it was a somewhat gentler work, with plenty of Hammond, a solid rhythm section and original melodies. The last ten minutes are progressive mastery of the highest order! The debut, recorded in 1970, in turn showed a fascination with early Traffic and Procol Harum. A very decent record, though not as striking as the next two. Both titles are worth around 400-1000 euros on vinyl, so this is certainly an economical purchase! Very good sound quality! Highly recommended! (JL) -

Additionally four tracks from the first two singles, including the fantastic, riffing "Stop Your Wishful Thinking" - without a doubt the band's strongest track ever! Excellent sound quality! A MUST!
