ATTILA - ATTILA - Attila (US heavy-prog with Billy Joel) - US Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE
price: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A very good, decidedly progressive album recorded with the participation of Billy Joel! The author of Piano Man and Uptown Girl, later known for being tedious, careered here on an overdriven and exuberant Hammond as if the world were ending, accompanied by a pal thrashing hard on the drums... I apologise for this style, but the playing is genuinely rocking, the tracks quite catchy and strongly improvised and the sound decidedly European - not far from Deep Purple. You do not feel the lack of guitar here at all! I highly recommend this album, since it would be hard to find another such organ orgy - and on top of that one that sticks in the ear without any trouble! (JL)
