BIG BERTHA (see also: Bedlam / Rainbow / Procol Harum) - BIG BERTHA - Live In Hamburg December 1970 - FRA On The Air Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE
price: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A rare, limited CD containing an 80-minute recording of a unique and at the same time very good concert by a heavily forgotten British heavy rock band (with only two singles to its name), with the young drummer Cozy Powell and the talented guitarist Dave Ball (later in Procol Harum). In 1973 the trio (with a vocalist added) turned into Bedlam. Big Bertha played classic, very heavy, heavily improvised rock in the vein of Led Zeppelin, Cream and Mountain. Fans of this kind of playing will be delighted! The sound quality is almost ideal - slightly better than on the earlier (double and unavailable for many years) edition of this title. The booklet contains several very rare photos of the band. Highly recommended! (JL)
