CLAPTON, ERIC - ERIC CLAPTON - The Professor Blues Review - EU Press - UNIKALNY CDprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
"The Professor Blues Review" (1986) is a live album, recorded during the Montreux Jazz Festival, at an important moment for the artist of a conscious turn towards tradition - pure, classic blues, away from the pop touches of his studio work of the time. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -
CLAPTON, ERIC - Eric Clapton – Life in 12 Bars (2CD) - EU Press - UNIKALNY CDprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
This is not an ordinary "greatest hits" compilation, but a well-thought-out cross-section of Eric Clapton's whole career – from his earliest recordings to later, more reflective pieces. The album is the soundtrack to the documentary about Clapton of the same title - and that is exactly how it sounds: like a musical biography. The first disc focuses on the roots – raw, electric blues and the British scene of the 60s. You can hear the young Clapton in full-energy form here: sharp riffs, inspirations from Muddy Waters and a pure, unpolished style. Recordings with The Yardbirds or John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers show how quickly he was growing into one of the most important guitarists of his era. The second disc is a more mature Clapton – more emotion, more space and a more personal tone. Classics appear from Derek and the Dominos and solo recordings, including "Tears in Heaven". ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -

CLIMAX BLUES BAND (see also: Climax Chicago Blues Band) - CLIMAX CHICAGO BLUES BAND - Tightly Knit - EU Press - UNIKALNY CDprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
The second album by Climax Blues Band (1971) is an example of British blues-rock that clearly goes beyond the pattern of typical blues bands - here, alongside guitars, there is saxophone (frequent solos), flute, harmonica, and the whole is held together by a very free, lightly jazzy rhythm section. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -

"Case History" (1972) is one of the most personal, honest and "unembellished" albums in Kevin Coyne's output, and his characteristic, slightly rough voice gives the songs authenticity and emotional depth. As many as 9 bonus tracks broaden the picture of the artist's work. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -

DELTA BLUES BAND (see also: Pan) - DELTA BLUES BAND - Delta Blues Band - SWE Flawed Gems Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Remastered (beautiful sounding!) Swedish edition of the only album by a Danish formation combining psychedelic, guitar-driven rock (with occasional brass - saxophone, flute) with blues - just as bands such as Cream, Taste, Ten Years After, Jethro Tull, Beefeaters and Cuby & The Blizzards did before. I first put the record in the 'psychedelic rock' category and only after some thought moved it to the blues section. An absolute classic! A MUST! (JL) -

Truth be told, this wonderful album does not have a single weak spot (well, except perhaps for the average Keep On Growing, which refers to the work of Delaney And Bonnie)! The absolute canon of rock! New, remastered edition. -
