Recorded in May 1976 (after the LP "Give Us A Wink") and released in 2010 with the blessing of the bassist Steve Priest, this is live material from one of the best British hard rock bands of the mid-70s! A great set of tracks (hard rock killers mixed with dynamically performed hits) and very good, solid sound quality (though dubbed from a cassette belonging to the band's manager) - only minimally weaker than the brilliant "Live At The Rainbow 1973". 2014 edition, the first time on vinyl. Highly recommended! -

Released in a limited edition, a double album featuring BRILLIANT live material recorded between November 1976 and March 1978, during the tours promoting the records "Johnny The Fox" and "Bad Reputation". ATTENTION! This is an alternative "Live And Dangerous", 40 minutes longer and better sounding! None of the tracks appeared on that record (or on the rare LP "Still Dangerous - Philadelphia 1977" released a few years ago), so all the versions are previously unreleased, as they come from other performances. In addition, there are six compositions here that are absent from the 1978 classic ("Soldier Of Fortune", "Johnny", "It's Only Money", "Me And The Boys", "Opium Trail" and "Bad Reputation"). This 118-minute album is perfectly pressed and sounds excellent! A must! Condition: MINT, NEW unsealed. -

Released by Metronome in 1971, an excellent, classic album by a Danish progressive band with a full sound based on Hammond organ and juicy guitar sounds. Fairly long, 6-8 minute tracks with intelligent arrangements, reminiscent of the most interesting recordings of the brilliant British band If, as well as Hannibal (from the UK) and the popular Danish group Midnight Sun. The record was dominated by attractive saxophone and flute parts, at times quite heavy, intense guitar parts, and also the then obligatory Hammond organ sounds. Attention was drawn to the very catchy compositions, excellent, breathy production and spacious sound. An almost perfect record! The original Danish vinyl in perfect condition sells for 1200 euros! Besides their own thrilling compositions, the band also presented their version of Hendrix's "Red House". The first track on the record gave its name to a very nice compilation... Every fan of heavy sounds will be delighted with this album! A must! -

Released in 1971 by Japanese Atlantic, the album is half like Blues Creation from the second album, that is, heavy, slightly bluesy playing full of attractive, guitar riffs. The music is very clear, while the heavier moods are interspersed with calmer, at moments even more art-rock passages (for example the 12-minute last track). A 2023 Japanese edition. -

The English blues band Tramp was a short-lived venture, active (with breaks) at the turn of the 60s and 70s. It was made up of: Dave Kelly (former guitarist/vocalist of the John Dummer Band) and his sister, the vocalist Jo Ann, as well as the former Savoy Brown keyboardist Bob Hall, while the whole was rounded out by members of Fleetwood Mac - Mick Fleetwood, Danny Kirwan and Bob Brunning. Released in 1969, their only album contained songs written by members of the group and is decidedly an essential item for all admirers of Fleetwood Mac and British blues. 2023 British reissue. (MU) -

Another carefully prepared Ethelion reissue, in a gatefold sleeve. Released originally in December 1970, the second in the discography, the best-known and most appreciated album by the British hard-rock trio, playing in the line-up: Glenn Hughes (bass and vocals), the guitarist Mel Galley (years later in Whitesnake) and the drummer Dave Holland (later in Judas Priest). The band played heavily, rather slowly, but with flair, and the album itself, alongside Deep Purple's LP "Burn", remains the best item in Glenn Hughes's career. Highly recommended! A limited album (on black vinyl), released in an edition of 500 copies, featuring 58 minutes of perfectly sounding studio material by probably THE MOST UNDERRATED BAND OF THE NWOBHM! It is a perfect combination of heavy playing in the style of very early Iron Maiden and Angel Witch, as well as the forgotten band Mythra - with a touch of classic, heavy British playing in the vein of Black Sabbath and very early Wishbone Ash! The band released three singles (the two earliest of which are available here) and two recordings on classic compilations. For years, no record of this kind, a vinyl premiere, has given me so much joy! An absolute must! Please listen to the YouTube links! Four recordings for BBC radio (in perfect quality) are available on the double compilation "NWOBHM At The BBC Volume 1" (alongside Samson, Def Leppard, Angel Witch and others).
