HEAVY LOAD - HEAVY LOAD - Full Speed At High Level - EU Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited, almost faithful replica (in a gatefold sleeve instead of a single one - with lyrics and enlarged photos inside) of the Swedish original, worth 350 euros, of the sensational debut by a Swedish heavy rock band known mainly from the somewhat later and quite popular (and in metal circles cult) albums "Death Or Glory" (1982) and "Stronger Than Evil" (1984). The debut, recorded in 1978, was until recently known to rather few listeners, since it was released by the band in a run of only 1000 copies on its own label and it is hardly surprising that in collecting circles it was and is regarded as the Holy Grail of pre-metal heavy rock - for musical reasons and also purely collecting ones! It is without doubt one of the heaviest and sharpest records of the 70s - inspired by the work of Black Sabbath, early Judas Priest, and also the Swedish Neon Rose; close to the work of somewhat later bands from the NWOBHM circle, but at the same time not free of clear progressive influences from the early 70s (Wishbone Ash). NOTE! The sound is slightly better, more souped-up than on an average-pressed original! It is an absolute MUST for every fan of heavy sounds! -

HEAVY RAIN - HEAVY RAIN - Heavy Rain - SPA Guerssen Remastered Press - LISTENprice: 145,00 PLN / 36,25 EUR
Formed in Blackpool at the end of the 60s, Heavy Rain was a band playing heavy progressive blues, which shared the stage with groups such as Hawkwind, Pink Fairies and Caravan. In 1973, reduced to a trio (Geoff Carter - guitar and vocals, Oggy Hargreaves - bass guitar, Bernie Worsley - drums), they went to London and recorded an album which was not released at the time. The music is psychedelic hard rock with heavy, overdriven guitars. -

HORSE (see also: Atomic Rooster / Saturnalia / Ibis) - HORSE - Horse - FRA Absinthe Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE - OSTATNIE SZTUKIprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
TITLE OUT OF PRINT! LAST COPIES! An excellent, unfortunately forgotten band from England with a fantastic, heavy rock album to their name, released in 1970 by RCA Victor. Horse presented great, captivating and at the same time catchy compositions with a raw sound, based on catchy riffs, a strong vocal and a good rhythm section. This record can be listened to in one breath, as there is not a single filler on it! Drummer Rick Parnell later played in Atomic Rooster, while two other musicians founded the progressive band Saturnalia in 1972. Excellent, clean sound on black vinyl! A MUST! -

HUMAN BEAST - HUMAN BEAST - Volume One - FRA Orange Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A new, limited, European edition of the only, very dark album by a Scottish, forgotten, heavy-rock trio, drawing on the psychedelic tradition. Released in a tasteful cover by Decca Records in August 1970, the LP, optimistically named Volume One, was an exceptional and original work containing seven compositions that combined the style of Cream, Hendrix, Black Sabbath and perhaps early East Of Eden. The decidedly greater part of the record, lasting a mere 34 minutes, was filled with very dynamic, partly instrumental tracks full of numerous changes, based on countless Sabbath-like riffs and swinging guitar parts, the powerful sound of a pulsating bass, fanciful, free but dense drumming and dark, uncanny vocals. In a somewhat different, psychedelic style were the compositions characterised by an overdriven guitar sound flowing like magma, inspired by the music of the East; at times based on the interplay of acoustic and electric guitars. It is worth knowing that Maybe Someday in its original, raw version appeared on the debut record of The Incredible String Band. In my opinion this wonderful album is among the greatest achievements of the British rock underground! The original longplay in its British version is much sought after and is worth... 3000 euros! An absolute must! (JL) Condition: New, sealed. -

HUMBLE PIE - HUMBLE PIE - Live At The Whisky A Go-Go, December 1969 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
First time on vinyl! Limited to 500 copies, released in an attractive, laminated sleeve with nice photographs of the band, a black vinyl lasting as much as 50 minutes and sounding great, containing a recording of an excellent, full concert that took place in December 1969, during a short American tour promoting the second album by the British hard-rockers. It was superb, slightly bluesy, decidedly guitar-driven playing (with the young Peter Frampton on lead), a little in the style of early Led Zeppelin and Free! The album contains, among other things, covers unpublished on studio records, such as the 12-minute "Shakin All Over", the 21-minute "I Walk On Glided Splinters", and the eight-minute "For Your Love". The sound quality is perfect, and the pressing loud and clean! A must! Condition: MINT (NEW, unsealed). -

HUMBLE PIE - HUMBLE PIE - Humble Pie (3rd Album) - EU Music On Vinyl 180g Pressprice: 155,00 PLN / 38,75 EUR
The third and probably best album in the discography of the British band. More than half of the record is great, juicy hard rock with the occasional organ. There are also a few more balladic passages. 2024 edition, in a gatefold sleeve. -

A great band from Denmark. Its only album was once released in England by CBS. Heavy, though clear, somewhat psychedelic sound, a bit of blues, plenty of improvisation - simply a very professional, great record. 2024 edition, with three bonus tracks from the album's recording session. Gatefold sleeve, sealed. Highly recommended! (JL) -

ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare first British edition (from 1974) of the very good debut by a once fairly popular British band (they supported Queen and Status Quo), playing fairly simple but very solid hard rock (sometimes brushing against a progressive style) in the vein of Deep Purple, Nutz, Nazareth and UFO. Sleeve: EXCELLENT+ / Record, probably unplayed: MINT(-) -

IRON BUTTERFLY (see also: Blues Image / Captain Beyond) - IRON BUTTERFLY – Live in Sweden 1971 - Purple Pyramid Records - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
An American vinyl with an official recording of a great, radio-broadcast (hence the excellent sound quality) Iron Butterfly concert from Sweden in 1971. The whole thing was made in a decidedly rock line-up of two guitars (Mike Pinera and Rhino), organ, and a rhythm section - known from the LP 'Metamorphosis' - and combined heavy rock with psychedelic, instrumental parts and long improvised passages. The LP contains only two very long, 24-minute tracks. The first side was taken up by the bluesy, classic 'Butterfly Bleu', while the second side belongs entirely to the brilliant 'In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida', presented here in a much longer version than the famous studio recording. Soon afterwards the band broke up and guitarist Rhino and bassist Lee Dorman founded the excellent Captain Beyond. A must! (JL) -

JENGHIZ KHAN (see also: Laurelie) - JENGHIZ KHAN - Well Cut - EU Sun King Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A new, European reissue from Sun King of a great, hard-progressive album by a Belgian band, released only in France in 1971, based on the interplay of organs and guitars, echoing the style of very early Uriah Heep and Deep Purple. Nobody will be disappointed! The reissue, released in a laminated sleeve, looks almost identical (it has a photo of the band added on the back) to the original worth 400 euros! Highly recommended! (JL) Condition: New, unsealed. -

JERICHO (see also: Jericho Jones / Churchills) - Jericho - Guerssen Press Edition (LP - VINYL LP)price: 155,00 PLN / 38,75 EUR
A remastered reissue of one of the best heavy-progressive albums in the history of rock! This album, released by A&M (and totally passed over at the time), is real guitar dynamite! This excellent record was filled with 5 tracks (including 3 lasting between 8 and 11 minutes) on the border of heavy rock and typical British progression (without keyboards) - with occasional entries of flute or acoustic guitar - a bit in the style of the sorely missed T2. To tell the truth, it is hard to find in British rock a record as intense as Jericho! Forget Leaf Hound, Jerusalem or Incredible Hog... Neither Budgie, nor Led Zeppelin, nor even Black Sabbath ever delivered such fire as the track Ethiopia opening the whole! I admit that I once did not value this album as much as I do now. Today for me it is a hard rock top twenty of all time! -
LP
JERICHO JONES (see also: Jericho / Churchills) - JERICHO JONES - Junkies Monkeys & Donkeys - Guerssen Press - LISTENprice: 155,00 PLN / 38,75 EUR
The debut album of the group Jericho Jones, or rather the second album of the cult Israeli psychedelic band Churchills (with a British vocalist), but under a changed banner! Interestingly, the next album was recorded under the name Jericho... In any case this record, made in Britain, contained a chunk of great, classic and very thoroughbred hard rock (with progressive elements) in the vein of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Three Man Army. Sealed. A must! -

JERUSALEM - JERUSALEM - Jerusalem - US Rockadrome / Lion BLUE VINYL Limited Press - LISTENprice: 200,00 PLN / 50,00 EUR
A reissue on blue vinyl of the only, but superb, album, once released by Deram, by a British heavy rock band playing in the style of Black Sabbath, Budgie and Clear Blue Sky - produced by Ian Gillan! No organs, just guitar riffs and crushing (usually slow) playing! Unfortunately the Purple vocalist did not especially shine and the somewhat muffled production is the only flaw of this truly classic and very heavy-sounding record! Edition limited to a hundred copies. (JL) -
