LP
AGNES STRANGE - AGNES STRANGE - Strange Flavour +1 - EU Ethelion Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
THE TITLE IS OUT OF PRINT! LAST COPIES! Classic British hard rock in the vein of Bedlam, Budgie, Stray and Dirty Tricks. An English trio playing heavy, invigorating rock with influences of blues and boogie, decidedly favouring the classic, 'old' sound of the early 70s, quite rarely encountered in 1975... A great-sounding reissue made in the original British cover. The German version from 1976 (and the early CD) had photos of the musicians on a dark background. Additionally one track from the B-side of a 1975 single has been included. Professionally recorded, but privately released by the band, the vinyl original is worth over 500 euros, so it is certainly worth investing 5% of that amount! Condition: new, sealed. A must! (JL) -

ANCIENT GREASE (see also: Eyes Of Blue / Big Sleep) - ANCIENT GREASE - Women And Children First - SPA Sommor Pressprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
A great album, recorded with the participation of musicians from Eyes Of Blue (later Big Sleep). Lots of strong, guitar riffs; heavy, intense sound - though the record does not lack calmer, balladic moments. On several tracks Gary Pickford-Hopkins (known later from Wild Turkey) sang as a guest. A 2023 Spanish reissue. Highly recommended! -

ANDROMEDA (see also: Atomic Rooster / Fuzzy Duck) - ANDROMEDA - Return To Sanity - A Collection Of Rare Tracks 1968-1970 - UK Far Out Limited Press - VERY RAREprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a beautifully produced (gatefold, laminated sleeve with nice photos of the band) British black vinyl, containing recordings not previously released on LP by one of the best British (somewhat forgotten) rock bands active in the late 60s - resembling a more progressive blend of the styles of Led Zeppelin and Cream. This 55-minute record contains all five tracks from an excellent BBC radio recording session (in perfect quality) from October 1968, two finished tracks from June 1969 that did not fit on the classic album, and several studio recordings from the period before and after the album - including, among others, a great version of "Seven Lonely Streets" - known from Atomic Rooster's second album. The quality of almost all the recordings is ideal, only two tracks from 1968 can be described as very good. I repeat: none of these tracks appeared on the band's only album from 1969, while four recordings of poorer quality appeared in 1990 on the LP "Seven Lonely Streets". The guitarist John Cann later played on two classic albums by the already mentioned Atomic Rooster, and the bassist Mick Hawksworth founded the excellent Fuzzy Duck. An absolute must! (JL) -

ANDROMEDA (see also: Atomic Rooster / Fuzzy Duck) - ANDROMEDA - Andromeda - UK Repertoire Remastered 180g Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
A brilliant, unfortunately sole album by a British trio playing the heavy rock typical of 1969 in the vein of Cream, Hendrix and Led Zeppelin's debut, with palpable, progressive touches (three tracks last 7-8 minutes each). A 2017 reissue from Repertoire, sealed. -
LP
ANDROMEDA (see also: Atomic Rooster / Fuzzy Duck) - ANDROMEDA - Seven Lonely Street - SPA Guerssen Pressprice: 145,00 PLN / 36,25 EUR

LP
ARMAGEDDON (UK) (see also: Steamhammer / Renaissance) - ARMAGEDDON - Armageddon - FRA Klimt ORANGE VINYL 140g Pressprice: 135,00 PLN / 33,75 EUR
A great, dynamic guitar record, made in 1975 but sounding like 1972, recorded by former members of Steamhammer, Renaissance and Captain Beyond. Extended compositions predominate, though in total there are only five of them anyway. Without doubt one of the five best British hard rock albums of the mid-70s! A 2025 reissue, on orange vinyl. Highly recommended! (JL) -
LP
ASGARD (US) - ASGARD - For Asgard - SPA Out-Sider Press - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
Recorded in 1972, a previously unreleased album by an American (NOT British!) band playing heavy rock with elements of psychedelia and prog rock. The band formed in San Francisco (initially as Osgoode), and an important element was the violin, which may bring to mind High Tide or the British (nomen omen) Asgard. -
LP
ASOKA - ASOKA - Asoka - EU Ethelion Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
An excellent-sounding, European vinyl reissue from the Ethelion label of the only album, originally released in 1971 by the Swedish Sonet, by a Swedish band playing energetic, quite raw hard rock (with organ and occasional piano) with clear progressive influences - a bit in the style of November and Deep Purple. The original LP is worth around 500 euros, so it is certainly worth investing 5% of that amount in this limited edition! Highly recommended! -
LP
ASTERIX (see also: Uriah Heep / Lucifer's Friend) - ASTERIX - Asterix - GER ICON Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
A sensational, hard rock classic (once released by Decca) recorded by musicians who a little earlier (also in 1970) had played under the name Electric Food, and a few months later (now with vocalist John Lawton - later in Uriah Heep) changed their name to Lucifer's Friend. Heavy guitar riffs, a solid rhythm section, occasional keyboards - the whole thing sounds like a high-octane version of the Uriah Heep debut with a touch of Deep Purple. Every fan of the first two LF albums will adore this album! Limited, German reissue. Condition: NEW - sealed. -
LP
ATOMIC ROOSTER (see also: Andromeda / Colosseum) - ATOMIC ROOSTER - Atomic Rooster (6th Album) - GERMAN EMI 1980 1st Press - EXCELLENT PLUS VINTAGE VINYLprice: 300,00 PLN / 75,00 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare, first, excellent-sounding German EMI 1980 edition. This was a reactivation by the leader Vincent Crane - with the guitarist/vocalist John Cann, that is the more important 2/3 of the line-up from the period of the LP "Death Walks Behind You". Released after a 7-year break, the band's sixth album contained very nice, juicy, hard rock material - which could just as well have been made much earlier. It is better than the records with Farlowe - not to mention the mediocre LP "Headline News" (1983). Great condition! The matt, rather delicate sleeve has a mark from a sticker and one crease: strong EXCELLENT / Record played a few times: MINT- -

BECK, JEFF (see also: Yardbirds) - JEFF BECK - Beck-Ola - JAPAN Odeon 1969 RED VINYL 1st Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 450,00 PLN / 112,50 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! A super rare, absolutely first Japanese edition (on dark red vinyl from Odeon) of the famous guitarist's superb second album from 1969. Great playing - undoubtedly one of the heaviest British titles of the late 60s. Rod Stewart, Ron Wood and Tony Newman (later in May Blitz) appear on the record alongside Beck. Attention! This is the best-sounding edition of this album - better than the UK and US versions, which I also have! Plus a lyric insert. The rigid, gatefold, checkered sleeve, unique to Japan, is almost perfect (with slight scuffs inside the gatefold): MINT- / The record is almost like new and sounds excellent: MINT(-) -

Beck-Ola is an excellent, hard rock, heavily riff-driven album in the vein of the Led Zeppelin debut - sometimes even heavier! The excellent, 7-minute "Rise Pudding" was played a year later by the German group Armaggedon. Condition: NEW - sealed. -
