The album documents the joint tour of Anderson and Ponty, based largely on the Yes repertoire, but presented in a chamber, often rearranged form. Familiar compositions are refreshed through the distinct presence of Ponty's electric violin, which takes over some of the functions of the former guitar and keyboard parts. The sound combines elements of progressive rock and jazz fusion, but the whole is lighter, more spacious and less monumental than the originals. A big role is played by the dialogue between vocal and violin, giving familiar pieces a new, more reflective character. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -

Limited to 500 copies, a beautifully produced (gatefold, laminated sleeve with nice photos of the band) British black vinyl, containing recordings not previously released on LP by one of the best British (somewhat forgotten) rock bands active in the late 60s - resembling a more progressive blend of the styles of Led Zeppelin and Cream. This 55-minute record contains all five tracks from an excellent BBC radio recording session (in perfect quality) from October 1968, two finished tracks from June 1969 that did not fit on the classic album, and several studio recordings from the period before and after the album - including, among others, a great version of "Seven Lonely Streets" - known from Atomic Rooster's second album. The quality of almost all the recordings is ideal, only two tracks from 1968 can be described as very good. I repeat: none of these tracks appeared on the band's only album from 1969, while four recordings of poorer quality appeared in 1990 on the LP "Seven Lonely Streets". The guitarist John Cann later played on two classic albums by the already mentioned Atomic Rooster, and the bassist Mick Hawksworth founded the excellent Fuzzy Duck. An absolute must! (JL) -

The second CD, running for over 70 minutes, contains, among other things, a great BBC radio session from 1968 (5 tracks); three good tracks that did not make it onto the catalogue LP and a few archive live recordings (unfortunately of weaker quality). American digipak edition of two albums (on one CD) by a British band that was a straightforward continuation (after the name was shortened) of Andwella's Dream (LP "Love And Poetry"). The first album (from 1970) contained intelligent and melodic music with a progressive tinge in the vein of Jethro Tull and Procol Harum. The second record (from 1971), though similar, was already considerably weaker - leaning more towards American rock à la The Band. Even so, I recommend it for the sake of the LP "World's End". (JL) -

A new, limited edition of one of the best records in this shop and at the same time the quintessence of ambitious, yet melodic playing from the late 60s! Released in summer 1969, Andwella's debut and truly cult album (the next two titles were already made under the shortened name) is a stunning combination of psychedelic style in the vein of early Procol Harum, the first two records by Family and Traffic and more than a pinch of late The Beatles from the "Abbey Road" period. The original record, lasting nearly 50 minutes (in perfect British CBS Records edition worth nearly... 2000 euros!!!), was filled with relatively short, but very substantial tracks lasting on average 4 minutes each. Plus two single tracks from 1969 and two tracks from 1970 are included. This is the best-sounding edition - better than the Sunbeam Records version. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! (JL) -

The first album, in my opinion truly great, by this once popular (especially in the USA) band, stylistically resembling early Rush, Pavlov's Dog and the lesser-known Granicus. Please don't be misled by the 'angelic' look (once devised by the Casablanca label as an 'anti-Kiss') - this band played juicy rock! A 2025 reissue. Highly recommended! (JL) -

The first two, superb and at the same time by far the best albums in the career of this once quite popular American band (discovered by Gene Simmons of Kiss) playing a combination of hard and progressive rock (with a pinch of glam). The first, in my opinion stunning (!) hard-progressive album resembled the work of early Rush (and a beefed-up Pavlov's Dog), Led Zeppelin of the time and Genesis (from the period of A Trick Of The Tail) and actually contains no weak spots! Very catchy, riffing compositions, rocking guitars, nice, very dense keyboard parts (mellotron, Moog, organ) - you cannot tear yourself away! One of the 3-5 coolest American albums of the mid-70s! The second LP (from 1976) was in a very similar and even slightly more hard-rock style. Please do not look at the smoothed-out image (supposedly in opposition to Kiss), just buy this record! An absolute must! -
