CURTIS KNIGHT ZEUS (see also: Motorhead / Fastway) - CURTIS KNIGHT ZEUS (feat. Eddie Clarke) - Second Coming - UK Lemon Remastered Edition - LISTEN - OSTATNIE SZTUKIprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
CD OUT OF PRINT! This is the first professional group of 'Fast' Eddie Clarke - later the Motorhead guitarist of the classic 1977-1982 period! Released in 1974, a completely forgotten but very good album by the British formation Zeus, led for a while by the American vocalist Curtis Knight - known mainly for his short-lived (and not very successful) collaboration with Hendrix (before the Experience). Recorded in London, the album contained above all Clarke's excellent, refined and almost archetypal guitar parts - and it is for them that this CD is worth having. Apart from that, the record featured plenty of heavy and genuinely intriguing numbers (though not shying away from rhythm'n'blues interludes) - only occasionally 'disturbed' by female backing vocals or keyboard entries. There are several longer tracks (the 9-minute "Cloud" is sensational), so the record should be of great interest to all lovers of classic rock and of course every Motorhead fan! This is yet another proof that there are still plenty of strong records left to discover! Recommended! (JL) -

A 25-minute concert from the BBC studio (with the legendary John Peel as presenter - material unreleased on any CD!) + 40 fascinating minutes live from the studio of the German Beat-Club (including the brilliant 10-minute "Peace Of Mind") + a short piece from Belgian television and - attention! - two studio tracks made in 1971 and 1972 on the A-sides of vinyl singles - never released on any CD! CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Air Cut - GER Repertoire Remastered Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
The band's fourth album, from 1973, with a new line-up - Darryl Way's place was taken by the then very young Eddie Jobson, and the result was a great, very dynamic record (lots of guitars, lively drumming) with the stunning, 11-minute, epic "Metamorphosis". Edition in a gatefold cardboard sleeve. Highly recommended! -
CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Air Cut - UK Esoteric Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR

CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Curved Space & Infinity (Rarities Series Vol. 2) (2CD) - UK Press - UNIKALNY CDprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
A compilation album where the very division into two discs – "Curved Space" and "Infinity" – suggests a conceptual distinction between more "earthly" prog rock and freer, almost cosmic experiment. The first disc is closer to the tradition of British progressive rock of the 70s. The second disc ("Infinity") is already decidedly more open material – at times brushing against ambient, jazz improvisation or even proto-electronics. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -
CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Air Conditioning +11 (2CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
The wonderful, progressive debut by this British band is one of the most thrilling albums of that period. The band combined, in a very skilful and original way, elements of rock, ballad, classical music and folk, and everything was kept in a rather dark and psychedelic mood. My favourites are the superb, dark, 6-minute "Hide And Seek" that opened side B of the original vinyl and the perhaps even better "Situations". In truth every one of the compositions here deserves attention... It is simply an album without weak points! In addition, eleven previously unreleased tracks (alternative studio versions and recordings for the BBC). -
CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Air Conditioning - UK Repertoire Remastered Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 75,00 PLN / 18,75 EUR
The wonderful, progressive debut of this British formation is one of the most thrilling albums of that period. The band combined elements of rock, ballad, classical music and folk in a very skilful and original way, and all of it was kept in a fairly dark and psychedelic mood. My favourites are the track opening side B of the original vinyl, the superb, dark, 6-minute "Hide And Seek", and the perhaps even better "Situations". In fact every composition here deserves attention... This is simply an album without weak points! Remastered Repertoire edition, in a gatefold card sleeve. A must! -

CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Phantasmagoria (CD+DVD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
A remastered edition of the classic third album by this progressive band. "Phantasmagoria" was another great and varied progressive record, featuring such wonders as the 6-minute, changeable "Marie Antoinette" and the beautiful ballad "Melinda (More Or Less)" - one of the most beautiful moments in Curved Air's entire output! The first three or four albums belong to the broad canon of the genre; especially thanks to the nice, though sometimes too insistent violin parts (Darryl Way - later in Wolf) and interesting, charming compositions. -
CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Second Album - UK Repertoire Remastered Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 75,00 PLN / 18,75 EUR
The second, excellent album, from 1971, containing, among others, the catchy single "Back Street Luv" and the superb, 13-minute "Piece Of Mind". Remastered edition in a gatefold card sleeve. Highly recommended. -
CWT - CWT - Hundredweight - GRE Missing Vinyl Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
An English band with a single album, released only in Germany in 1973. A great album on which a heavy, guitar-driven sound was combined with an (occasional) brass section! Highly recommended! -
CYCLE - CYCLE - Cosmic Clouds - Rise Above Relicsprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
"Cosmic Clouds" is a compilation of archival recordings by the British group Cycle. It contains material from the ultra-rare debut album from 1971 (a private pressing of 99 copies), a previously unreleased second album recorded in 1973 and a later demo from 1975. The music combines heavy hard rock with elements of psychedelia and early progressive rock, with long guitar parts and a raw, underground sound. -
CZAR - CZAR - Czar +2 - EU Ethelion Expanded Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A great-sounding European edition, expanded by two tracks (including the excellent, 8-minute 'Ritual Fire Dance' from the same session), of the sole sensational record, released in 1970, by a completely unknown British band, referring somewhat to the work of The Moody Blues but playing with more bite. Lots of Mellotron, organ, nice guitars, a psychedelic mood. I adore these somewhat 'dreamy' productions of the type of the work of Velvett Fogg, Ghost, Woody Kern and Arcadium. The best reissue of this title ever released! A MUST! NEW, SEALED. -
CZAR - CZAR - Czar +2 - AUS Progressive Line Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
An earlier edition with two bonus tracks from the single, but with better sound than the Sunbeam CD! A fantastic record! A completely unknown British group, somewhat reminiscent of The Moody Blues, but playing with more bite. Plenty of mellotron and organ, sophisticated compositions, a psychedelic atmosphere. I love these slightly "dreamy" productions, where the bands sound very 'mysterious' (e.g. Velvett Fogg, Ghost, Woody Kern, Arcadium). A MUST! -
CZERWONE GITARY - CZERWONE GITARY - Spokój serca +8 - ITA Eastern Time Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a very rare Italian 2015 reissue of Czerwone Gitary's only truly rock album! Recorded in January 1971 as a trio, this fifth album in the discography is one of literally 5-6 best Polish rock records of the seventies! The band showed a completely changed, at times almost psychedelic face, and Seweryn Krajewski enchanted with the quite powerful sound of an electric guitar plugged into a wah-wah effect! The album contained only two slightly easier tracks: the beautiful "Płoną góry płoną lasy" and the rather charming "Uwierz mi Lili" that opened the original vinyl - relegated to track number 4 on the CD. The rest is real, at times very atmospheric, ambitious rock! Please do not pull a face, or shake your head in disbelief. This title is very rare on Polish vinyl, because back in the day almost nobody bought it and as a result the band, threatened with a complete loss of popularity, gave up rock for good... For over 20 years, though, "Spokój serca" has been quite popular and sought after among Western collectors of rare records - hence, presumably, this reissue! The content of the album has been supplemented with eight rare or even mega-rare, generally exquisite recordings from the same period, including the full version, extended by a minute and a half (compared with the rare vinyl EP from 1971), of the jaw-dropping "Pejzaż miasta" (now 7:30 long - with Seweryn's brilliant, extended guitar improvisation), several never-released radio recordings and several numbers from nice East German singles - including a superb version of my favourite "Nocne całowanie" - on this superb CD in as many as three versions! Inside the booklet are reproductions of rare record sleeves from the period. Note! This CD sounds excellent, very clean and dynamic - miles better than the hissy and muffled Polish version from the 90s! An absolute must! (JL) -
CZERWONE GITARY - CZERWONE GITARY - To właśnie my - POL Pronit 1966 1st Press - EXCELLENT PLUS VINTAGE VINYLprice: 800,00 PLN / 200,00 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! Ultra rare (especially in great condition), absolutely first (with the old Pronit label logo that was used only until 1966!!!), monophonic Polish pressing of the debut album, from 1966 - on the red Pronit label with the old logo. Great condition! It is one of the best three copies I have seen! The very delicate, very thin sleeve has literally a few small creases, a ring-wear mark from the record and a yellowed back. No paper loss, no wear, no frayed edges! A truly unique, though somewhat used, copy that will satisfy even the most fastidious collector: a strong EXCELLENT / The record was played a few times, has almost no scratches, and the sound is excellent: MINT- Record label almost ideal: MINT-
