"Lord Of Misrule" is an album from 2017 on which Blood Ceremony develop their characteristic sound inspired by the rock of the 70s. The band's music combines heavy, doomy riffs with psychedelia and a distinctly marked occult atmosphere. A special role is played here by the flute, which gives the compositions a unique, almost folk flavour. The production is warmer and more accessible than on earlier releases, but does not lose its dark atmosphere.
