The record is filled with subdued, mid-tempo tracks and quite dynamic, guitar-driven pieces based mainly on Halsall's great playing. All in all it is easy to treat this album as the 'fourth Patto LP'! -

A limited, European vinyl released by Verne Records in a very attractive, laminated sleeve and containing the band's 52-minute performance in St. Louis from December 1976, from the American tour promoting the band's sixth record. The Welsh band was then performing as a quartet - with an additional rhythm guitarist, Myf Isaac. The sound quality is very good (from the mixing desk, so-called soundboard) - slightly better and more dynamic in the instrumental layer than the CD version, though the vocal part is still a little too loud, but most fans will surely not mind! A must! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. -

A limited, 52-minute European vinyl released by Verne Records in a very attractive sleeve, featuring rare and mostly unique recordings from early singles (including completely different, and shorter, versions of "Whisky River" and "Zoom Club", as well as the little-known "Honey" from 1975), from later studio sessions for BBC radio (from 1976 and 1981); a 1975 performance for BBC TV (known from YouTube) and a 10-minute "Zoom Club" from the concert in St. Louis in 1976 - the latter did not fit on the LP "Live In St. Louis 1976". Excellent sound quality! A must! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. -

BUDGIE - BUDGIE - Live In St. Louis 1976 - FRA On The Air Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Limited, fan-club, great CD containing a 65-minute, radio performance by the band (now a quartet - with an additional rhythm guitarist) from St. Louis in December 1976, from the tour promoting the fifth and sixth records. This 80-minute CD sounds 25% better than the old, Italian bootleg "Live In Concert", and also contains a 10-minute "Parents". The sound quality is very good (from the mixing desk - so-called soundboard), but with some fluctuations in the level of both guitars (especially in the first two tracks) and with a fairly loud vocal. The whole thing sounds slightly better than the still very good CD "Live In Milwaukee 1978". In addition, at the end two tracks recorded nine days earlier in New York are included - of weaker quality, but very rare and valuable. For example the track "Pyramid", known from the later LP "Impeckable", has a superb, 3-minute speed-up - heavily limited on the studio record. A must! -
