WALLY - Martyrs And Cowboys - Atlantic Recordings 1974-1975 (2CD) - UK Esoteric Expanded Edition - LISTEN

An album containing two records by the band. Released in 1974, a very good debut album by a band playing classic, rather gentle (without instrumental acrobatics) but flawlessly delivered rock in the tradition of old Yes, Genesis, Fantasy, Asgard and Druid. The 14-minute "To The Urban Man" is a progressive masterpiece - with a building mood, Mellotron parts and a delicious guitar solo. It is an album that will delight all lovers of this kind of playing; besides, it was produced by Rick Wakeman! The second album, released in 1975, was filled by just 4 tracks - including a 19-minute, multi-threaded, instrumental suite.
