VARIOUS ARTISTS (NWOBHM) - Winds Of Time - New Wave Of British Heavy Metal 1979-1985 (3CD BOX) - UK Hear No Evil Edition

A very attractively produced, three-disc box set from Hear No Evil devoted to the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement in 1979-1985. Plenty of classics and unknown bands, e.g. with a single single to their name. All in all quite a lot of unknown recordings! Perhaps it is not a completely exhaustive release (licensing problems and so on) but flawless as a 'good start'. All the discs are placed in cardboard sleeves and dropped into a rigid, cardboard box. In addition there is a booklet with descriptions, record covers and so on. Recommended!
