VARIOUS ARTISTS - Let's Stomp! Merseybeat And Beyond 1962-1969 (3CD BOX) - UK Strawberry Edition - LISTEN

A three-disc set containing recordings by artists from the Merseybeat scene, from which The Beatles emerged, and whose fame caused them to be somewhat forgotten. Here we have such hits as "Sweets For My Sweet" and "When You Walk In The Room" by The Searchers, "Bad To Me" by Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas, "Hippy Hippy Shake" by The Swinging Blue Jeans and "Everything's Alright" by The Mojos. Five tracks from the compilation "Joe Meek's Tea Chest Tapes - The Telstar Story" have been newly remastered. Highly recommended!
