A compilation album summing up a key stage of the band's career, originally released in 1993. It contains a selection of the group's most important singles from 1976–1991, supplemented by two new studio tracks, including the hit "Mary Jane’s Last Dance". The music presented on the record represents classic American rock with strong influences of folk rock, heartland rock and pop rock with the characteristic vocal lines of Tom Petty.
