THUNDER AND ROSES - King Of The Black Sunrise - SPA Out-Sider Edition - LISTEN

Released in 1969 (by United Artists), the only album by a little-known American power trio combining elements of heavy, guitar-driven rock with late psychedelia and a pinch of blues - something in the vein of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, Power Of Zeus and Third Power! Besides their own thrilling compositions, the band also presented their version of Hendrix's "Red House". The first track on the record gave its name to a very nice compilation... Every fan of heavy sounds will be delighted with this album! A must!
