STRAY DOG - Stray Dog - USA Manticore 1973 1st Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYL

ANALOGUE SOUND! A mega rare, first American pressing by Manticore (from 1973) of the great debut album by an American-British band (with a lyric insert and the original company inner sleeve) of guitar-driven, heavy rock with numerous improvisations and clear influences of prog rock and blues. The whole was produced by Greg Lake. This is a rock classic! It may be worth knowing that the guitarist Snuffy Walden replaced Paul Kossoff (on several tracks) on Free's LP "Heartbreaker", while the British drummer had earlier played with Noel Redding in the heavy rock band Road. The very attractive-looking sleeve, styled as perforated wood, is in great condition, though it has a promotional cut on the spine, a number written on the front and a small crease: strong EXCELLENT / Record played a few times, like new: MINT-
