SPREADEAGLE - Piece Of Paper - SWE Flawed Gems Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

On CD for the first time! Released in 1972 by British Charisma, the only album by the hard-progressive group Spreadeagle is a chunk of great, guitar-driven, juicy rock (with numerous improvised parts) in the style of Wishbone Ash, very early Camel, Spontaneous Combustion, Home, as well as Ginhouse and Public Foot The Roman. The three longer tracks, lasting 21 minutes in total, are simply superb, while the four shorter compositions are hard to fault (they are really nice), although inevitably the instrumental parts are not as impressive. Generally it is completely forgotten, and at the same time very convincing, top-drawer British hard-progressive rock! Excellent production and great sound quality! Highly recommended!
