SPIRIT - Complete Potatoland (4CD BOX) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN

A four-disc edition of an album recorded by members of the band at the time the band's activity was suspended. The record was rejected by the label and plans for its release were abandoned. Randy California returned to it at the turn of the 70s and 80s, then added new parts, and the material was mixed once again. In 1981 it came out as "Adventures Of Kaptain Kopter & Commander Cassidy In Potato Land", credited to Spirit. The box set, released in 2019, contains: on CD1 - the original from 1973, on CD2 - the version from 1981, on CD3 - a performance by the group California, Kapt Kopter for KPFK FM Radio of Los Angeles, from 13 September 1972, and on CD4 - recordings for the same radio station, from seven days earlier. 22 bonus tracks have been added to the discs.
