SATIN WHALE - Lost Mankind - EU Eclipse Remastered Edition- LISTEN - VERY RARE

Released in 1975, the second album by a German band playing refreshing, energetic and fairly melodic/catchy progressive rock (lots of Hammond organ and flute, electric guitars, powerful, dense drums) in the vein of Focus and Jethro Tull, but also Emergency, Sahara and Subject Esq. And although not all the tracks are as killer and played with as much steam as on the debut LP "Desert Places" (Brain, 1974), there is no filler on the album. One of the best German achievements of the mid 70s! Excellent sound! Highly recommended! (JL)
