JACKSON HEIGHTS - Ragamuffin's Fool - UK Esoteric - LISTEN

Remastered edition of the third album (originally released by Vertigo) by the British folk-progressive group led by Lee Jackson, the former vocalist and bassist of The Nice. Unlike Keith Emerson's band, JH's music was characterised by almost balladic, largely acoustic sounds (sometimes folky, sometimes progressive) built on acoustic guitars, keyboards (piano, Mellotron) and percussion instruments. The keyboards were played by Brian Chatton, a former colleague of Phil Collins from Flaming Youth. The album also marked the return of drummer Michael Giles.
