ROSS - Ross +2 - EU Eclipse Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RARE

First time on CD outside Japan! A long-awaited, great-sounding reissue from the Eclipse label of the debut album, released in 1974, by an American-British band led by the guitarist/vocalist Alan Ross, but with the former vocalist and keyboard player of the legendary progressive band Indian Summer - Bob Jackson! True, Jackson usually appears in additional vocals, since the vocal parts were sung by the leader, but his keyboard parts are decidedly well audible. The drums, on the other hand, were played by Tony Fernandez, later known from the records of Rick Wakeman and Strawbs. The band played very nice, superbly produced, quite ambitious and slightly American-sounding, progressive (soft) hard rock with lightly perceptible Latin influences. Additionally two live recordings from 1975 are included. Highly recommended! (JL)
