RANDY CALIFORNIA - Kapt. Kopter And The (Fabulous) Twirly Birds +2 - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN

British, remastered edition of the great solo debut by the leader and guitarist of Spirit - here assisted by bassist Noel Redding, playing under a pseudonym, and the former Spirit drummer Ed Cassidy. Recorded shortly after the break-up of the classic Spirit line-up (the other faction formed Jo Jo Gunne), the album contained Hendrix-like, guitar-driven material in the power trio style - including two Beatles covers ("Day Tripper" and "Rain"). Plus two tracks from a rare single. This is a rock classic with great, Hendrix-style guitar parts! Highly recommended!
