QUEEN - Live At Hammersmith Odeon 1975 - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

This fan-club CD, limited to 500 copies and lasting 68 minutes, contains a recording of the legendary radio performance that Queen gave at the famous London hall on Christmas Eve 1975. The concert took place right after the release of the LP "A Night At The Opera" and shows the group in the role of a new rock star. Interestingly, almost all the tracks come from the excellent first three albums, so the playing is really heavy, intense, but always melodic and catchy. The sound quality is ideal - only in the rock'n'roll medley is it muffled. This concert at the Hammersmith Odeon, released on very limited and expensive vinyl by the BBC Transcription Service, is one of the most famous items in the band's unofficial discography. Combined with a gallery of very attractive photos, it is an essential item for every fan of the band! A must! (JL)
