PLASTIC PENNY - Everything I Am - Complete Plastic Penny (3CD) - UK Grapefruit - LISTEN

A three-disc box set containing both albums recorded by the band - "Two Sides Of A Penny" (in mono and stereo versions), a very nice pop-psychedelic debut, and "Currency", a sensational album that is a link between the freakbeat-psychedelic era (The Who, The Move) and early progressive rock. Organ-and-guitar sounds in the vein of The Nice, Velvett Fogg and The Gods. Paul Raymond on organ (later Chicken Shack and UFO), Mick Grabham on guitar and Nigel Olsson on drums (Uriah Heep's debut and the Elton John Band).
