PAVOL HAMMEL – The Best Of Pavol Hammel - Pavian Records Digipak Edition

This is no ordinary compilation of old hits, but a collection of17 tracks re-recorded in new arrangements. The Slovak vocalist and guitarist combines melodic pop-rock with elements of progressive rock, and the recordings feature guest appearances by, among others, the Hungarian keyboard player Gábor Presser and the Ad Una Corda choir. It is a wide-ranging look at Hammel's work, showing both his talent as a composer and his ability to refresh his own repertoire.
