McLUHAN - Anomaly - EU Prog Gems Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A new, limited, European edition of the only album, released in 1972, by a forgotten American band, playing progressive, jazzy rock (still with psychedelic touches) reminiscent, oddly enough, more of the recordings of British 'horn' bands such as If, Galliard and Walrus than of the American Chicago, Blood Sweat & Tears or Chase. The opening 11-minute "The Monster's Bride" is an absolutely brilliant rock classic, full of changing moods and at the same time decorated with wonderful melodic lines. The remaining three tracks (and especially the 3rd and 4th) are hardly inferior to it. An absolute must! (JL)
