MICHAŁ URBANIAK GROUP – Sound Pieces (3CD) - MIG Music Edition

One of the most interesting releases documenting the work of Michał Urbaniak from the period of his European successes in the early 70s. Two studio albums show the artist freely combining jazz, rock, electric music and elements of the avant-garde, with a distinct place for improvisation and modern compositional structures. The real attraction of the set is the complete concert from the Lila Eule club in Bremen from 1972. A careful remaster.
