MAXOPHONE - Maxophone - ITA CLEAR VINYL Limited Press - LISTEN

The sole but really very good album by an Italian band, containing richly arranged, somewhat jazzy progressive rock full of changes of tempo and mood, with saxophone, flute, rather sharp guitar and organs. The whole can be compared with the work of bands such as King Crimson, Genesis, Gentle Giant, National Health or Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso. This is the original version with an Italian vocal (there was also an edition with English lyrics). A great record - one of the better ones of 1975! Recommended. 2022 Italian reissue, in a gatefold sleeve, on clear vinyl.
