MASTER'S APPRENTICES - A Toast To Panama Red - EU Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

In my humble opinion it is hard to imagine better, classic rock playing than that presented on this record by the Australian band! Like the LP 'Choice Cuts' (with the antique chair), this album, recorded in London (at Abbey Road), offers stunning, hard-progressive and quite melodic playing in the vein of Cream, Wishbone Ash and Tamam Shud. As on the previous album, the record was dominated by very meaty, shorter or longer forms and all in all it is hard to understand why this band did not become big outside Australia... A must!
