MARILLION - Early Sessions 1981-1982 (BBC Friday Rock Show + The Roxon Tape + Manchester Square Demo) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A superb, limited, 54-minute black vinyl from Verne, collecting classic material by the progressive Brits (combining here the style of early Genesis, Camel and mid-period Pink Floyd), made between July 1981 and July 1982, that is over the course of the year before signing the contract with EMI Records. Three tracks from an excellent BBC session (with the best, sharpest version of "Forgotten Sons"), two tracks from a demo session for EMI, three tracks recorded in the studio in 1981 (and sold at concerts) and a live track unreleased on any album, "Institution Waltz". Decorated with an attractive sleeve by Mark Wilkinson, the whole thing sounds excellent, professional and is an excellent complement to the band's first two albums! A must! CONDITION: NEW, UNSEALED.
