MAHOGANY - Mahogany - EU Walhalla Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A great and at the same time only album by a British band, which came out in 1969 only in the States and the Netherlands on Epic Records. This is bluesy but rather 'experimental', at moments almost hard-rock playing with harmonica - a bit like Sam Apple Pie, Rare Amber or the less intense Steamhammer debut. The record was produced by Tony Clarke (of the old Moody Blues LPs) and you can hear it - even in the last track, adorned with a mellotron part... It is nice that such British 'curiosities' still come to the surface! Highly recommended!
