JUDAS PRIEST - Sad Wings Of Destiny - UK Back On Black RED VINYL Limited 180g Press

British reissue on red vinyl - exceptionally in a gatefold sleeve with lyrics inside - of what is without a doubt the best British hard rock album of the second half of the 70s - beating hands down the output of Budgie or Thin Lizzy at the time! Typical, classic, riff-driven twin-guitar playing by a (then) unknown formation fighting for survival. Besides their own, hard-won style, you can hear echoes of the work of Wishbone Ash and early UFO (with Schenker) - with a pinch of Black Sabbath. Sensational! Edition limited to 500 copies. (JL)
