JACKSON HEIGHTS - Ragamuffins Fool / Bump 'n' Grind - EU Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Third and fourth albums (both once released by Vertigo) by a British, folk-progressive formation led by Lee Jackson - the former vocalist and bassist of The Nice. Unlike Keith Emerson's band, JH's music was characterised by almost ballad-like, largely acoustic (sometimes folky, sometimes progressive) sounds built on acoustic guitars, keyboards (piano, mellotron) and percussion instruments. On both albums the drum parts were played by Michael Giles himself, and keyboards were played by Phil Collins's former colleague from Flaming Youth - Brian Chatton.
